The note written by David West reads "Mr. Rushen you air at liberty to let William Swingler have lisens to mairey my daughter Lorer Ann West. December the 8-1886. David West."
2. CENSUS: Laura is found on the 1900 Robertson County, TX census. The census states she was born in February 1872, was 28 years old, and had been married for 14 years, mother of 5 children-1 living. In the 1910 Robertson Co. census, "Bill" states he is a widower. Laura most likely died after the birth of her twins, Ernest Jasper & Earl William in September 1903.
3. DEATH: Believed to be buried in Post Oak (Heards-Prairie) Cemetery with her husband and children.
