Tobias G. Storm, his brother William R. Storm and his nephew Charles E. Storm were killed instantly when their vehicle was struck by a train in Windsor.

Tobias G. Storm was the third son but fourth child born to Vincent and Lilly Storm. He, too, was born in Ash Grove township, the date of his birth being Aug. 8, 1851, and he spent his entire life in this county. He and Barbara E. Tressler were married Nov. 19, 1871. She and two of their six children are left to mourn, the surviving sons being Vincent F. and Cyrus C. Storm. The deceased also leaves seven grandchildren, two brothers, J. J. and George W. Storm; and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth [David] Watson. At the age of 16 years Mr. Storm united with the Ash Grove Christian church, retaining his membership therein until death, and served as deacon and elder for many years. All the brothers, sisters, and children of the three deceased, together with their families, were present at the services.
