Leonard J. Claypool, 67, of 159 E. Church St., Xenia, Ohio, formerly of Kittanning, died Sunday morning (May 29, 1966) in Greene Memorial Hospital Xenia, following a brief Illness. Born Dec. 26, 1898, in Kittanning, a son of Gilbert and Nannie Aikens Claypool, he had been a resident of Xenia for the past eight years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kittanning and a retired employee of the W. T. Rawleigh Co. Survivors include his wife Alberta Wyant Claypool; one daughter, Mrs. Woodrow (Jeanne) Rowland of Xenia six sisters and two brothers all of Pennsylvania, and four grandchildren. CLAYPOOL — Friends of Leonard J. Claypool, 67, of 159 E. Church St., Xenia, Ohio, formerly of Kittanning, who died Sunday (May 29, 1966) are being received at the McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia, where services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 with the Rev. Jack Fawley officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery. Arrangements by McColaugh.

Leonard J. Claypool, 67, of 159 E. Church St., a retired Raieigh Products salesman, died at Greene Memorial Hospital Sunday at 6:45 a.m. He had been ill three weeks. Born in Kittanning, Pa., Dec. 26, 1898, Mr. Claypool came to Xenia eight years ago. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kittanning. Survivors include his widow Alberta Wyant Claypool; a daughter, Mrs. Woodrow (Jeanne) Rowland with whom he made his home; six sisters and two brothers in Pennsylvania, and four grandsons, Jim, Tadd and Jeff of Xenia and Kent Rowland of Springfield, and two great-granddaughters. Services will be conducted by Jack Fawley of First Church of Christ Wednesday at 1 p.m. at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., with burial in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
