Jeanne C. Rowland, age 87, of Xenia passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, on January 16, 1923, the daughter of Leonard and Alberta (Wyant) Claypool. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Woodrow Rowland; a son, Jim Rowland. Mrs. Rowland is survived by her children: Kent (Connie) Rowland of Columbus, Ohio; Tadd (Diane) Rowland and Jeff (Vicki) Rowland, both of Xenia; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She moved to Xenia in 1959 and spent her life dedicated to her family. She was a member of the 1st Church of Christ. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the McColaugh Funeral Home, Inc., 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
