He was a farmer and had worked for Gibson Lumber and Branham Lumber Companies and he was of Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lou Willie Parrish Anderson; his infant daughter, Patricia Anderson; his brothers, Johnny Anderson and Roy Anderson; his sisters, Clara Claywell, Lois Smith and Mary Claywell.
