Mr Allen passed away in the Missouri State Sanatorium in Mt. Vernon ,Missouri following a brief illness.
He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, and had lived most of his life in Christian County .
He is survived by his wife Golda, a daughter, Anna Belle Gideon, Ozark,five sons , Wilford, Los Angeles ,Donald & James, Ozark, David and Freddie of Springfield, three sisters, Ada Dyer,Alma Morissett, both of Ontario, California and Lucille King, Kansas City, Kansas and 19 grandchildren.
Services were in the Harris Chapel with the Rev. Clifford Day officiating, with burial in the Prospect Cemetery south of Ozark.
On March 28, 1925 he and Golda Johnson were married in Christian County, Mo.
He was the son of Isaac Allen and Anna Elizabeth Bailey.
