Jim was a bus driver for the public school system in Ozark and Spokane. He was a farmer and rancher all of his life.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife Arlene, three brothers; Wilford Allen, Dusty Allen, Dave Allen, one son-in-law, Ken Hartwigsen.
Survivors include: one daughter, Cindy Hartwigsen, two sons; Danny Allen and wife Jo Mastin and Jimmie and wife Diane Allen, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Burial in Prospect Cemetery, Ozark, MO.
