James R. "Jim" Allen, age 78, passed away at his home in Spokane, MO, on July 6, 2015. He was born February 9, 1937 in Ozark to William Isaac "Bill" Allen and Golda Johnson. He was united in marriage to Arlene Huntington January 21, 1956.
Jim was a bus driver for the public school system in Ozark and Spokane. He was a farmer and rancher all of his life.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife Arlene, three brothers; Wilford Allen, Dusty Allen, Dave Allen, one son-in-law, Ken Hartwigsen.
Survivors include: one daughter, Cindy Hartwigsen, two sons; Danny Allen and wife Jo Mastin and Jimmie and wife Diane Allen, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Burial in Prospect Cemetery, Ozark, MO.
