Donald T. Tallyn, 75, of Peoria Heights passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on Sept. 11, 1934, in Dunlap, a son of Evertt and Hazel Martin Tallyn. He married Gwen Ruhland in 1954. She survives.
He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Don worked at Sears for more than 35 years, retiring then to work at Tallyn's Professional Photographic Supply in Peoria. After retiring again, he worked as a driver for the Hospital Services at the Red Cross.
He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Peoria.
