ISAK TOMMILA
Isak Tommila, 85, of 12 Harding St., died this morning at Keystone Drive, Leominster.
He was born in Pomarkku, Finland, a son of the late John and Sandra Tommila, and was a resident of Fitchburg for many years.
He was an electrician at Fitchburg Paper Co., for 45 years, retiring in 1957.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alma (Jarvenpaa) Tommila; three daughters, Ellen, wife of Waino Paananen of Fitchburg, Elvi, wife of John Julian of Buena Park, Calif., and Helen, wife of Albert Rossi, of La Palma, Calif.; two sons, Toivo Tommila of Townsend, and Wilho Tommila of Wheaton, Md.; 16 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wedneday at 11 a.m. in the Sawyer Funeral Home with the Rev. David E. Wuori, pastor of the Elm Street Congregational Chuch, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetary. Calling hours in the funeral home are 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
