Obituary published in The York Daily, dated March 23, 1909: Word was received today of the death of Adam Lehman, of Potosi, who had been afflicted with typhoid fever for some time. Mrs. Lehman and three others of the family are stricken with the same disease. Mr. Lehman will be buried at the Dunkard Church near that place on Wednesday forenoon. A number of relatives live here, among them being, Mrs. William Flinchbaugh and Mrs. George B. Sechrist.
According to the death certificate, Adam died of typhoid fever. Virginia Wakefield Lehman once told me that my grandfather Adam Henry, being the oldest son, yet only 17 years of age, then had the responsibility of taking care of the farm.
