PLAINVILLE - Ronald Leigh Burton, 88, Plainville, died Friday, April 22, 2005.
Mr. Burton was born Dec. 20, 1916, in rural Rooks County. He was a farmer and rancher.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lynn.
Survivors include his wife, Luella L., of Plainville; three sons, Ronnie Lew of Wichita, Jack Lee of Plainville and Patrick Lynn of Burleson, Texas; a daughter, Susan Lynette Burton of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother, Dwight of Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Plainville. Burial will be in Plainville Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Ronald L. Burton Memorial Scholorship Fund, in care of Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, 409 S. Cochran, Plainville 67663.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and 11 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the church.
