She was born c1823, daughter of Aaron Beard and Kizziah Carter. She m/ John William Deer c1842 and they had nine children. She died 1866, giving birth to the last child. John then m/ Elizabeth C. "Eliza" Pittman, dau. of Alfred Pittman and Elizabeth Stovall.

Andrew Jackson Deer b 1859 d 1922 m/ 1st Rosa Erwin (dau. of Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Erwin & Winnifred "Mary" Clark) They had seven children. After the death of Rosa, Andrew m/ 2nd Lucy McKenzie (dau. of Tom & Katie McKenzie) and they had two children.

Emaline "Nannie" Deer b 5 Sep 1864 d 4 June 1906 She had six children by John Jacob "Jake" Boone (son of John Boone & Helen Margaret Sartin) the husband of her step-sister, Myra Donahoo. In 1900 she m/ Frank Hyde and they moved to Texas. When she died in Bastrop Co., TX, 1906, Jake went there and brought the children back to Pike Co., MS to live with him and his wife Myra.
