Title: L.E. Galloway Dies While at Work in Field

"Aledo, Ill, May 21--Lesington E. Galloway, 66, a lifelong resident of Mercer county, was found dead in a field near his home in Aledo yesterday afternoon. Death was attributed to mitral insufficiency by Coroner A. N. Mackey. Mr. Galloway having suffered from heart trouble for the last several years.

Mr. Galloway was well known here as a teamster. He had spent the day plowing in a field near his home. He had returned to the house at about 1:30 o'clock for a drink of water, after which he again returned to the field. It was shortly after this time that death occurred, his body being found 15 minutes later in the field.

Mr. Galloway was married to Miss Jennie Graham of Woodhull, Nov. 23, 1892. To this union were born five daughters and two sons, all of whom survive, with the widow. Mr. Galloway was a member of the Modern Woodman and the Aledo Methodist church.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Aledo Methodist church. Internment will be in the Aledo cemetery."
