ALEDO - Mrs. Otto Dillie, 75, of 407 SW 4th Ave., Aledo, died at 1:55 yesterday morning at the Mercer County Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 Saturday afternoon in the Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo with the Rev. David Ericson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Aledo, and the Rev. Verne Wortman, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church of Hamlet officiating.
Burial will be in the Aledo Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 Saturday evening at the Fippinger Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dillie was born Aug. 25, 1893, in Aledo, the daughter of Ellsworth and Jennie S. Graham Galloway. She was graduated from Aledo High School.
She was married to Mr. Dillie Dec. 19, 1912, in the Galloway home in Aledo and has resided in Aledo since that time.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and past president of the Rebekah Lodge of Aledo.
Surviving are the widower; three daughters, Mrs. Dora Rideout of Ottawa, Ill., Marguerite Johnson of rural Aledo and Mrs. Irene Newton of Shale City; six sons, Clarence of Templeton, Ind., William of Tucson, Ariz., Raymond and Ernest, both of rural Aledo, Kenneth of Joy and Richard of East Moline; 37 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and four sisters, Mrs. Dora Rockey, Mrs. Stella Hyett of Aledo, Mrs. Eva Tawson of Delavan, Ill., and Mrs. Emaline Franks of rural Aledo. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Memorials for the First United Methodist Church may be left at the funeral home.
