Mrs. Katie E. Goad of 5435 Longview, a Dallas resident more than 70 years, died Tuesday in her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Goad was born in Clinton, Iowa, and was a member of the East Dallas Christian Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Alvin H. Jeffers of Dallas; a son, Charles W. Goad of Grapevine, a grandson and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wedneday at the Weiland-Merritt Funeral Chapel, 2909 Live Oak, with Dr. W. A. Welsch officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
