"Moses Thompson and wife Nancy of Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County, sold to John Skilling 200 acres on Lot 15 in Dryden Township, Cayuga County New York, for five shillings, and release of dower that was coming to the said Elizabeth Skilling, formerly widow and relix to the deceased Philip Courter, father to the said Nancy Courter, now intermarried to the said Moses Thompson." (p220)
"Elizabeth Campbell married, first, Philip Courter, and had Nancy, born 1787, died 28 Nov 1833 aged 46, buried in Van Nortwick Cemetery Lot 15, Dryden). She married Moses Thompson in 1804 or later and two girls are shown with them in the 1830 Census of Dryden." (p222)
