OBITUARY - Manda Hollenback
MACOMB -- Manda Jane Hollenback, 97, of Macomb died at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1995, at Heartland Health Care Center.
Born Nov. 25, 1897, in Pike County, Mo., to Fred and Bertha Hollenback Riechard, she married Earl Hollenback on Nov. 13, 1915, in Rushville. He died Nov. 3, 1960.
One son, Oliver, one daughter, Olive, five brothers, four sisters and two great-granddaughters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Helen) Brown of Macomb; two sons, Lester of Deltona, Fla., and Earl Jr. of Macomb; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was a licensed practical nurse at the former Phelps Hospital in Macomb for 15 years. She also took care of women in her home after retiring. She was a member of Church of God Abrahamic Faith in Macomb.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sargent-Worthington Funeral Home in Macomb. The Rev. Michael Hoffman will officiate. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the McDonough District Hospital hospice program in Macomb.
