Lester N. Hendershot, 38 years old, of Wind Gap, was found dead in bed yesterday afternoon by his wife, when she returned from work. He had been suffering from a heart ailment for some time and had been under the care of a physician for the last three months.
Mr. Hendershot was a native and life-long resident of Wind Gap, son of the late William and Lillie Kemerer Hendershot. He was last employed by Parsons Brothers Slate Company.
He is survived by his widow Mrs. Anna Ackerman Hendershot; a daughter, Mrs. Charles T. Schoudt, of Allentown; one grandson and a brother, Clyde Hendershot, of Wind Gap.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Pullis Funeral Home, 126 Pennsylvania Avenue, Penn Argyl, in charge of the Rev. Sanford Lonnsinger, of Philadelphia, and internment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl.
