In 1852 Aaron Whittemore and his wife, Elizabeth "Betsey" Wright joined a wagon train of LDS immigrants traveling to the Salt Lake Valley, Utah Territory. They settled south of Salt Lake City, which would later be called Spanish Fork. No children are known.
After Aaron's death, Betsey married a Utah widower, Daniel Wood, of New Hampshire.
