Born July 19, 1909 at Red Bush she was the daughter of Hager and Lizzie Lyons Stapleton.
She was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church.
Mrs. Meade is survived by her husband Georgie Meade, 2 step-sons and 5 step-daughters.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Dr. Azbill.
Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Stapleton, and the Rev.Ellis Hamilton officiating.
Music was by the Staffordsville Quartet.
Burial was in the Wells Buckingham Cemetery under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
