The Livonia Gazette
Livonia, Livingston County, New York.
Friday, June 1914
Mrs. Alice Townsend, widow of M. L. Townsend, died in New York Tuesday. It will be remembered that she was run over by an automobile in that city several weeks ago, and had never returned from the hospital, where she was taken on the night of the accident, of which her death was doubtless the direct result. The funeral services were held from the home of her daughter at South Livonia yesterday afternoon, the Rev. Dr. Kiehle officiating. Mrs. Townsend was a most charming woman, beloved by the whole community.
