GREAT BEND, KAN., Nov. 11 -- Mrs. Edna A. Forbes, 51, a resident of Great Bend, died Saturday morning at Wesley Hospital in Wichita following an illness of 1 1/2 years.
Born Aug. 16, 1905, near Lehigh, Kan., she and her husband, H. Stanley, moved here from Wichita about five years ago. He is an oil field worker and presently is employed with Honaker-Davis Drilling Co.
Survivors include her husband, H. Stanley; a son, Duane, with the Coast Guard in Boston, Mass.; a brother, James Auernheimer, Ellinwood, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Penner, Hillsboro, Kan.; and Mrs. Lucas Bahar, [Bahr] Burns, Kan.
Funeral services will be announced by Cook and Weber Funeral Home of Great Bend, Kan.
