Mary Lee (Cole) McBride, age 80, left this earth for her heavenly home on June 10, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born on March 14, 1941 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and lived most of her life in Harleton, Texas. Mary and her late husband, B. J. McBride, were avid fishermen. They loved getting up early to go fishing at Lake of the Pines. She is preceded in death by her husband, B. J. McBride; her son, Darnell Lewis and her daughter, Eva Lewis; two brothers and three sisters. Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Debbie (David) Younger, Metzie (Steve) Scroggs, Stephanie (Dave) Karminisin, Terry Vukouick, Barbara (Doug) Harvey, B. J. (Kim) McBride, Pauline Mathis and her adopted son/grandson, Bradley McBride. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a very special sister-in-law, Barbara Cole; a special niece, Wanda Wallace; numerous other family members and friends who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank Magnolia Place for taking excellent care of Mary this past year. Also, a heartfelt thanks to Mary Ann with Prime Care Hospice who made this journey incredible. Visitation will be held at Meadowbrook Funeral Home from 6-8pm, Monday, June 14, 2021. Graveside service will be held at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Harleton, Texas at 10:00am, Tuesday, June 15, 2021 with Bro. Craig Evers officiating.
