Edgar Noah Cole, age 84, of Gunter, Texas passed away on September 25, 2020 in Denison, Texas. He was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Marion and Pauline (Redus) Cole. Edgar married Barbara S. Lovell on October 6, 1966 in Thayer, Oklahoma. He worked in the communications industry as a machinist.
Edgar is survived by his wife, Barbara Cole of Gunter, Texas; his children, Paula Johnson and husband, Royce of Lone Star, Texas, Eddie E. Cole and wife, Barbara of Bonham, Texas, Rhonda Jaresh and husband, Terry of Gunter, Texas, Kenneth Cole and wife, Carolina of West, Texas, Marion Cole and wife, Linda of Gunter, Texas, and Leroy Cole and wife, Amy of Colbert, Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; his sister, Mary McBride of Harlton, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and a brother.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 300 W. Pecan Street, Gunter, Texas 75058. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Gunter Cemetery located on Foy Wallace Road. ∼
