Early Resident of Truckee Dies.
I.F. Harvey, an old resident of Truckee, died at Nevada City, Monday morning at a hospital where he has been undergoing treatment for a heart ailment. He was seventy-two years old.
Mr. Harvey came to Truckee in 1891 from Sacramento. He was at one time engaged in the draying business, served as constable and deputy sheriff; was a past master of Truckee Lodge No. 200 A. & A.M. and for a number of years held the position of tyler in the same lodge, and up to his death was secretary of Donner Chapter, Royal Arch Masons. He was also a member of Islam Temple A.A.O.M.S. of San Francisco.
He leaves a wife, Hannah, a son, Charles, and two daughters, Gertrude, and Mrs. Edith Journey of Sacramento. Services will be conducted by Truckee Lodge No 200 F. & A.M.,Thursday at 2 p.m.
