Stanley (Dutch) Tuggle,47, of Barclay, formerly of Mt.Pulaski died at 12:15 am yesterday in St. Marys hospital. He had been in failing health several years and seriously ill the last year.
He was the son of Isaac and Ida May Carson Tuggle. Mr. Tuggle was born in Warrensburg, March 12,1906. On Feb.16, 1943 he married Nellie Rentfro in St.Louis.
Mr.Tuggle lived in the Mt.Pulaski area most of his life,moving to Barclay about a month ago.He operated Tuggles Tavern at Mt.Pulaski. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Mr.Tuggle leaves his mother, his wife,a foster son, Cleon Zotas, Decatur brother,Charles,Warrensburg and four sisters, Mrs.Luvena Major and Mrs.Harry Winters,Warrensburg, Mrs.E.E.Buckly,Argenta, Mrs.J.W. Cozard, Decatur,
Funeral services will be at 2:30 Saturday at the J. J. Moran funeral home where friends may call. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
