Alfred Lungren, age 86, a resident of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the VA Hospital in Kansas City.

Alfred was born January 21, 1924 in Carroll County to Harold "Albert" and Minnie (Womack) Lungren.

Alfred is survived by 13 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Faye (Bryant); parents; brothers Harold, Jesse, Robert and Wayne Lungren; sisters Lavetta Miller and Ethel and good friends.

Funeral services were held at Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer, Monday, May 3. There was a visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prairie Ridge Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P. O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Mo. 64601.

Arrangements were under the direction of Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer.

Alfred Lungren, age 86, a resident of Hamilton, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the VA Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Alfred was born January 21, 1924 in Carroll County, Missouri to Harold "Albert" and Minnie (Womack) Lungren. Alfred was a farmer, and was a Construction worker, operating heavy equipment,railroader and also worked for the Hamilton School District in Maintenance. He served in the Army during WWII. Alfred spent all of his life in Carroll and Caldwell Counties.

Alfred is survived by 13 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Faye (Bryant), parents, brothers, Harold, Jesse, Robert, and Wayne Lungren and sisters Lavetta Miller and Ethel (Bell) Herring.

Funeral services will be held at Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer, Missouri on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M on Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until 6:00 P.M. Sunday, May 2, 2010 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prairie Ridge Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home or be mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
