Last Rites for Lena Burrier

Funeral services of Mrs. Adolph (Lena) Burrier, 61, were held Friday, November 14, 1975 in Hodges Fife Funeral Home with burial in Resthaven Cemetery in Menard. The Rev. Sam Coffey officiated, assisted by the Rev. Wallace Shultz of Kerrville.

Mrs. Burrier died November 12, 1975 in Sid Peterson Hospital, Kerrville following a long illness.

She was born July 15, 1914 in Mason County. She married Adolph Burrier December 2, 1934 in Menard. A Junction resident for many years, she served as chief clerk of the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation office for 30 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Mrs. C.B.Chenault of Comfort; four brothers J.W. Haines of Mason, Alvie Haines of Bertram, Earl Haines of Killeen and Leonard Haines of Junction; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Lange of Mason and Mrs. Earliene Blair of Grand Island, Neb; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Westfall, Frank Wootan, Ramsey Randolph, Jack King, L.B. Sheffield and Tommie Murr.
