Adelaide (Wiezorek) Chipps, 80, of Quinlan, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1991, at a Quinlan, Texas, hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church in Litchfield with the Rev. Matt Wentz officiating. Burial will be at Litchfield Cemetery. Lybrand Funeral Home of Quinlan is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Sept. 3, 1911, at Litchfield, to Antone and Jenny Wiezorek. She was educated at Litchfield.
She was raised most of her life around Litchfield, moving to Broken Bow. They owned Chipps' Cafe in Broken Bow.
They moved to Kearney working at Baldwin's Filters for a number of years and the Holiday Inn.
She moved to Texas two years ago. She was a member of the church and Rebekah Lodge of Litchfield.
Survivors include son Jerry, Kearney; daughter Sharon Kay, Quinlan, Texas; sisters, Irene, Bernice and Maxine, all of Iowa; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1980, and a grandson.
