Gary Charles Morgan, 65, of Cumming, Georgia died October 29, 2009, at Embracing Hospice House. A longtime resident of Bloomington, Illinois, he was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Gary was the son of the late Charles and Edna (Judd) Morgan. Gary worked as a drywall finisher and was a member of Local District Council 30, Painters and Decorators Union in Elgin, Illinois. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Cumming and had been active in the Sunshine Club at the Forsyth Senior Center. He is survived by his beloved wife Joyce (Smalldone) Morgan of Cumming, Georgia; daughter Louise (David) Terrell of Gallatin, Tennessee; granddaughter, Lexy Quilter of Alpharetta, Georgia, and eight siblings. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
