Dailey, Jo Ann
Jo Ann Dailey, second child of Bulah Pool (born 1894) and Balis E. dailey (1891-1979) was born April 10, 1924, in the Dailey family home at Dalys, Houston County, TX. In 1931, she moved with her family to Grapeland, Houston County, TX, where she attended public school until graduation in 1941.

Miss Daliley never married and was a Baptist. She received her B.A. Degree from Baylor Univ. Waco, Tex. in 1945, and Master of Education from Sam Houston State Teachers College, Huntsville, Tex. in 1959. She is talented in writing short stories and Sunday School Devotionals. From Sept 1945-1975 she has taught 4th grade in Robert E. Lee Elementary School, Corsicana, Tex. at which time she retired and lived Grapeland, Tex.
