She was a member of the Union Corners Church and the Royal Neighbors club.
Mabel was married to Ernest E. South, June 16, 1923, in Wadena, Minnesota. Mr. South preceded her in death on October 8, 1965.
Left to mourn her passing are two daughters, Mrs. Frances Peterson, Minneapolis, MN; Mrs. Thelma Pesola, New York Mills, MN; four sons, Vivien South, Lowellville, OH; Richard South, Youngstown, OH; Lawrence South, Spenard, Alaska; and Donald South, Girard, OH; twenty three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brothers, Vernon Brumbaugh, Topeka, KS; Gail Brumbaugh, Fairfax, VA; and one sister, Bonnie Ingstad, Minneapolis, MN.
Funeral Services were held at Domian Anderson Memorial Home in Bertha, MN, with Mrs. Clarabell Fish officiating. Interment in Inman Cemetery, Henning, MN.
