Wichita Resident, 80, Dies Saturday
Mrs. Adaline Wilson, 80, of 1516 S. Main St., died Saturday in a local care home after a long illness.
She was born March 20, 1874 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, and moved to Wichita from Winfield, Kan., 30 years ago. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Her husband Charles preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, two sons, two sisters, two brothers, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The daughters are Mrs. Lottie Knox, 2040 Gold St., Mrs. Rachel Thompson, 1558 Burns St., and Mrs. Pauline Stubbs, 545 N. Terrace Dr.
The sons are Robert Wilson, Altoona, Kan., and Joe Wilson, Albuquerque, N. M.
Brothers and sisters include Mrs. Carrie Crumett, Miss Alpha Bonnett, Frank and John Bonnett, all of Ponca City, Okla.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Broadway Mortuary. Burial will be in Wichita Park Cemetery.
