Mrs. Katie Cole, 85, widow of Pearl Cole, died Saturday, November 3 at Volunteer General Hospital in Martin. Services were at 2 p.m. November 5 at Corinth Baptist Church near Sharon; burial in church cemetery. She leaves a son Woodrow Grooms of Martin, a son Gerald Cole of Memphis and four stepsons, James Cole of Sharon, R.J. Cole and Trevie Cole, both of Chicago, Ill., and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Opal Adams of Sharon.
