MRS. RAYMOND MYERS

Mrs. Beatrice Myers, 78, of 221 S. Ward, died at Ottumwa Hospital Saturday at 9 a.m.

The daughter of Warnie and Addie Wright Sage, she was born at Monroe on July 6, 1891. She had been an Ottumwan 40 years.

She married Raymond Myers Feb. 17, 1915, at Plano. He survives as do one son, Eernest B. Myers of Ottumwa; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lenna Smith of Centerville, and Mrs. Bessie Grenko of Numa; and three brothers, Charlie Sage of Columbus Junction, Otto Sage of Des Moines, and Clyde Sage of Missouri Valley. An infant son and one sister preceded her in death.

The service was today at 1:30 p.m. at Jay Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. David Ash of Willard Street United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Carl Jones, Ronald Storm, Truman Dwight, Dwaine and Kenneth Sage.
