Mrs. Cora Elizabeth Hebert, 63, a resident of Numa the past ten months, passed away at the home of her brother at 3214 5th street in Des Moines, Thursday, December 36. 1958, at 6.30 am. Born April 2, 1900, in Monroe County, Iowa, she was the daughter of Warnie and Addie Wright Sage.

She married Wilsie McFadden in Ottumwa, Iowa, in February 1944. Ho died in Prescott, Arizona, in February 1968, following a lingering illness. On May 15, 1964, she was united in marriage with James E. Hebert in Prescott, and he preceded her in death March 2, 1965. Mrs. Hebert had resided in Phoenix, Arizona, from 1944 to 1961, and in Prescott from 1961 until moving to Iowa in March of 1968. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Prescott.

Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include three brothers: Charles Sage of Columbia, Iowa; Otto Sage of Des Moines, Iowa, and Clyde Sage of Missouri Valley, Iowa, and three sisters: Mrs. Homer (Lenna) Smith of Seymour, Iowa; Mrs. R. E. Beatrice Myers of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Mrs. Tony (Bessie) Grenko of Numa, Iowa. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 1968, from the Miller-Wehric Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa. Rev. Hazel Thompson officiated. Mrs. Etoiso Turner and Mrs. Mary Zintz sang two of her favorite hymns, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "How Great Thou Art", accompanied by Mrs. Belle Olds at the organ. Nephews acted as pallbearers and interment was in the Promise City Cemetery, Promise City, Iowa.
