Sharon-Services for James Cole, 62, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 7, at Travis Chapel Methodist Church with the Revs. Danny Hudson and Howard Haworth officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery with Sharon Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Cole, a farmer, died Tuesday, November 4, 1980, at Volunteer General Hospital in Martin after a short illness.
He was lifelong resident of Weakley County and veteran of World War II. He was a member of Travis Chapel Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frankie Cole; a daughter, Mrs. Janice Crider of Sharon; a sister, Mrs. Opal Adams of Sharon; two brothers, R.J. Cole of Dyer and Trevie Cole of Chicago; a half-brother, Geraldine Cole of Memphis and a step-brother Woodrow Grooms of Martin; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Lee Biggs.
