Mrs. Frank Reed, 71, died in a Waco Rest Home at 9:20 p.m. Thursday, April 7.
Funeral services were held at the Amsler's Chapel Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Leroy Brown and Rev Tom Granger officated. Burial was in the Crawford Cemetery.
Mrs. Reed was born near McGregor and had lived in the McGregor area all of her life. She married Mr. Reed in 1926. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors; her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Homan (Florine) Brazzil of Waco; Mrs. Marvin (Jorienne) Bubert of McGregor; Mrs. Wm. A. (Rosemary) Treu of Topeka, Kansas; three sons, Aruld G. Reed of Fort Worth; Alton E. Reed of Fort Worth; Floyd Wayne Reed of Ft. Meade, Maryland; one sister, Mrs. Marvin Thompson, Ropesville; one brother, Milford Abbe of McGregor; eight grandchildren.
