She was the 4th Great-Granddaughter of Revolutionary War Soldier, Henry Valentine, (NSDAR) and the granddaughter of Civil War Soldier, John Boyer, who was a prisoner of war at Andersonville. She married a Mr. John Cook, but the marriage ended in divorce. She had a son, Ralph Cook. She married again on 18 Jul 1907 to Frederick John Meyer. This union produced three children, Pauline Rose Meyer Schaub, Margaret Fay Meyer Arnold and Frederick Meyer.
