George H. Anhalt, 86, of Houston, formerly of Scranton, died Friday, June 23, 2000, in Houston.
He was a retired nurse's aide for the Veterans Administration and of the Catholic faith.
Funeral was at St. Meinrad Catholic Church with burial at St. Meinrad Catholic Cemetery in Prairie View under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Kremer Anhalt; one daughter, Shelia Templeton of Houston; one son, David of Littleton, Colo.; three sisters, Stella Seifert and Verona Schwartz, both of Paris, and Henretta Fox of Fort Smith; and three grandchildren.
