Preceded in death by parents, George and Katie (Jansen) Anhalt Jr., husband, John Schwartz; daughter, Virginia Joan Schwartz; and brothers, Herman and George Anhalt. She was a member of St. Meinrad Catholic Church in Prairie View and attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Paris, Arkansas, a member of St. Ann's Mother's Society and Prairie View Extension Homemaker's Club.
