Thomas Adamson
Died on Monday, March 22, 1886, Thomas Adamson, at his home in Elkhorn township in the 79th year of his age. Father Adamson was born in Greene county, Pa., in the year 1807. He removed to this county in the fall of '84, and during his residence here, won the esteem and respect of all his neighbors and acquaintances. He has been a consistent member of the Baptist church for 31 years. He leaves to mourn his loss, an aged wife and two sons, Mr. Smith Adamson of this city and Mr. Benjamin Adamson of Indiana township.
He was interred in the Lincoln cemetery on the 23rd inst. Death came to this aged believer as a
"Beautiful twilight at set of sun;
Beautiful goal, with race well run;
Beautiful rest with work well done."
