MRS CELIA L DOW
Mrs Celia L (Sullivan) Dow of 41 High St., Agawam, died Friday at the Westfield Sanatorium after a long illness. She was born in Southboro, the daughter of John and Della Sullivan, and had lived most of her life in this city. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Regina Circle; the Golden Age Club of this city and of the Hobby Club. She leaves two sons Frank E. of Rock Island, Ill. and Raymond S. of this city; two daughters, Mrs Anna Dehais of Agawam and Mrs Helen Rooke of Manchester, Conn.; a brother, John of Agawam and six sisters, Mrs Agnes Kelley of Wilbraham, Mrs. Ada Shirlise of Houston, Tex., Mrs Raymond of Miami, Fla., Mrs Ellen Margaret Doody of West Springfield, Mrs Marie Bushey of Waltham and Mrs Hazel Heywood of Agawam; 17 grandchildren, a great-grandson and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at George St Pierre and Son funeral home Monday at 8 a.m. with a solemn requiem high mass at St. Theresa's church at 9. Burial will be in Agawam Center Cemetery. Visiting hours are today and Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. The Daughters of Isabella will meet at the funeral home Sunday at 8 to recite the ritual.
