MARCELLUS DAVISON DIES IN ADAMS COUNTY.
Marcellus Davison, 73, Monroe Township farmer, Adams County, died at 1:40 p.m Friday at his home following a heart attack. He had been in ill health several years.
Surviving are the wife, Nancy; two sons, the Rev. Ralph E. Davison, Converse, and Albert, Pleasant Mills; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Miller of Washington, Miss Helen Davison, Richmond, and Mrs. Cecil Schindler, a missionary in Africa; two brothers, Brayton, Fort Wayne, and Elmer, Denver, In.; a sister, Mrs. Lesta Shady, Ossian, and seven grandchildren. The body, taken to the Yager Funeral Home, will be returned to the residence Sunday morning.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Salem Methodist Church in Blue Creek Township, of which he was a member, with the Rev. Seth Painter officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.

Funeral Services Sunday Afternoon
Marcellus Davison, 72, Monroe Township farmer, died Friday afternoon at his home following a heart attack. He had been in ill health for several years. He was a member of the Salem Methodist Church in Blue Creek Township.
Surviving are the wife, Nancy; two sons, the Rev. Ralph E. Davison of Converse and Albert of Pleasant Mills; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Miller of Washington, Miss Helen Davison of Richmond, and Mrs. Cecil Schindler, a missionary in Africa; two brothers, Brayton of Fort Wayne and Elmer of Denver, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Lesta Shady of Ossian and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Salem Methodist Church with the Rev. Seth Painter officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery at Bluffton. The body will be removed from the Yager Funeral Home to the residence Sunday morning.

MARCELLUS DAVISON DIES SUDDENLY FROM HEART ATTACK
Funeral services were held at the Salem Methodist Church Sunday afternoon for Marcellus Davison, 72, Monroe Township farmer who died suddenly at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. Rev. Seth Painter, pastor of the Salem Church officiated and burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery at Bluffton.
Mr. Davison died from a heart attack. Death occurred at his home three miles north and one and one-half miles east of Berne. He was preparing to leave for Monroe when death suddenly struck. A local physician was called but Mr. Davison was dead when the physician arrived. He had suffered from heart disease for several years.
Mr. Davison was born April 25, 1874, in Adam County, the son of Milford and Mary Jane Gibson Davison. He was married to Nancy E. Johnson on November 11, 1899. The couple lived in this community for many years.
Surviving are the widow and the following children: Rev. Ralph Davison, Converse; Mrs. Mildred Miller, Washington, D.C.; Miss Helen Davison, Richmond; Mrs. Cecil Schindler, missionary to Africa, and Albert Davison Pleasant Mills. Two brothers and a sister survive, Brayton Davison, Ft. Wayne; Elber Davison, Denver, Indiana and Mrs. Lesta Shady, Ossian.
Mr. Davison was a member of the Salem Methodist Church.
