AMARILLO - Ada Belle Brain, 94, Amarillo, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1989.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Schooler-Gordon Colonial Chapel with Dr. Winfred Moore, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. in Panhandle Cemetery.

Mrs. Brain, a native of Marion County, Ky., and a longtime Borger and Panhandle resident, moved to Amarillo from Borger in 1950.

She was a charter member of Panhandle Eastern Star Chapter No. 760, a charter member of Borger First Baptist Church, and a member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo. She had worked in the church nursery at First Baptist Church 17 years and was a former cafeteria worker for the Amarillo Independent School District.

Survivors include three sons, Cecil Lee Brain of Fairmont, W. Va.; Lawrence Brain of Fritch, and George W. Brain of Borger; a daughter, Evelyn Sue Baird of Amarillo; three sisters, Ruby Williams of Amarillo; Polly Bridges of San Angelo, and Billie McCauly of Albuquerque, N.M.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
