Marie Thompson Robson, 76, died early Friday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
The Screven County native lived in Bulloch County most of her life and with her husband owned and operated Robson's Bakery for 26 years. She was a member of the Passtime Sewing Club and First Presbyterian Church of Statesboro.
Survivors include her husband, W. George Robson, Statesboro; two sons and a daughter-in-law, George W. Robson, Birmingham, Ala., and John W. and Robin D. Robson, Greenville, S.C.; three sisters, Pearl Cowart, Vancleave, Miss., Romie Lee Morris, Statesboro, and Lola Renke, Manchester, Iowa; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church of Statesboro, with Dr. John Bressler officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.
