Maude Cook Holliday, 85, 815 South Broadway. Wichita, died Saturday Evening at St. Joseph's Hospital, Wichita.
Born Aug. 26, 1883 in Cowley County, she was the daughter of Ed and Julia Hunt. She was married to David C. Cook in 1905, who preceded her in death in 1932. She lived in Winfield until 1932, when she moved to a farm in Beaver Township. In 1947, she was married to James "Jack" Holliday. He preceded her in death in 1959. She was a lifetime member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ed Cook, Neosho,Mo., and Julius Cook, Branson, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Zona Robertson, Wichita; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Morris Memorial Chapel with the Rev. D.E. Young officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
