Lillie Belle Alford, of 457 Cheshire St., Eugene, passed away July 19, 1955, at the age of 80. She was born December 31, 1874 at Monroe, Oregon. Her husband John whom she married at Lancaster, Oregon, March 16, 1892 preceded her in death in 1948. She is survived by two daughters, and four sons, Mrs. Bessie Hatfield, of Eugene, Mrs. Doris Tribble of Oakland, Calif, Clell, of Portland, Everett, Emery, and Ivan Alford, all of Eugene; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maude, of Portland, and Mrs. Iva Green, also of Portland; two brothers, Douglas Perkins, of Eugene, and Les Perkins, of Junction City. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Poole-Larsen Funeral Home.
