Mr. Jack Caldwell, age 66 of Huntington, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Caldwell was born August 15, 1938 in Trinity and had been living in Huntington for the past 4 years, previously living in Lufkin. Mr. Caldwell had worked as a mechanic and was a member of the Lufkin Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife Anna Caldwell, of Huntington; daughter Cynthia Whitley and husband Hubert, of Cleveland; sons Allen Caldwell and wife Tamara, of New Caney, Rick Caldwell, Sr. and wife Monica, of Cleveland, Gene Caldwell and wife Darlene, of Salado and Jimmy Caldwell and wife Brenda, of Huntington; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; brothers Oren Wayne Caldwell, of Crockett and Waymon Caldwell, of Lovelady; sisters Jimmy, of Trinity, Reba King, of Willow Springs, Mo. Shirley Thompson, of Houston and Valeria Goodrum, of Porter; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by his son Paul Caldwell; mother Nettie Mae Caldwell; father Him Caldwell; and brothers Homer Caldwell, Sammy Caldwell, Vaden Caldwell and Mack Caldwell.
Funeral services for Mr. Jack Caldwell were held Friday, March 18, at 10:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Mr. Dub Holland officiating. interment followed in the Weldon Cemetery.
