Betty was the youngest of five children. She attended grade school and high school in Eufaula where she met and married Wade Alexander Watts and they had six children. After the birth of the first three children, they moved to McAlester where she had resided for the past 51 years. She accepted Christ early in her life, was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church of McAlester, until her death. She worked outside the family home only a short while at Arrowhead Lodge and spent the rest of her years being a homemaker. Survivors include seven daughters, Coluah Stanfield and Vanessa Rolan, of McAlester, Tia Johnson and husband, Jermaine, of Yukon, Carolyn Cox, of Dallas, Dr. Dianna Willis and husband, Don, of Tulsa, Ensie Drumgo and husband, Will, of Ada, Lillian Ray and husband, Tim, of Tulsa. Also, six sons, Donald Watts and wife, Julie, of Newcastle, Maceo Lynn Watts and wife, Melissa and Joe Watts and wife, Dee, of McAlester, Lincoln Watts and wife, Felicia, of Muskogee, Larry Watts and wife, Diane, of Raleigh, N.C., James Watts and wife, Eva, of Tulsa. And, one sister, Lorene Murrell, of Enid; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lena and Shirley; a brother Alfred; her husband, Wade, and a son, Charlie. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chaney's Memorial Chapel, McAlester, with the Rev. Dwight Porter officiating. Burial will be at Huttonville Cemetery, Huttonville, under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.
